Welcome to Rasa Gaya, our flagship hair salon in Ubud — opened in 2020 on Jl. Raya Sanggingan, in the quiet Kedewatan ridge area just five minutes from the Campuhan Ridge Walk. This is where the brand began: precision cuts, advanced colour, and slow, considered hair rituals, surrounded by the calm of the Ubud jungle.
We work with a European-Japanese toolkit — Keune (Netherlands) for colour, Milbon (Japan) and K18 for repair, and Sachajuan for care. Our master stylists handle balayage, natural highlights, creative colour, and rescue work for chemically processed or sun-damaged hair. Many of our clients come straight from a long flight or a few weeks on the island — we know what Bali water, salt and sun do to colour, and we work around that.

We are at Jl. Raya Sanggingan No.369, Kedewatan — on the main road between central Ubud and Kedewatan, about 5 minutes by scooter from the Campuhan Ridge Walk and 3 minutes from Naughty Nuri's. The studio is on the ground floor, easy to spot from the road. Free scooter parking in front.
Strongly recommended, especially for colour, balayage, and Japanese repair treatments — those services take 2–4 hours and our master stylists book 2–3 days ahead in high season (June–September, December–February). Haircuts start from 600,000 IDR for a first visit and go up to 900,000 IDR depending on length, density and complexity. The price always includes shampoo, conditioning treatment, and a professional blowdry. Government tax and service of 12.5% are added at checkout. See the full price list above.

For repair we use Milbon (Japan) — the leading professional repair system trusted by top salons across Asia — and K18 bionic peptide for molecular bond restoration. Daily care: Sachajuan. We do not use drugstore products at any stage.
Yes, this is what our senior colourists specialise in. Bring photos of the original target colour and the current result if you have them. We will do a free in-person consultation, test a strand, and give you an honest plan — sometimes the fix is a single session, sometimes it has to be staged across two visits to protect the hair. Bali sun, salt water, and chlorinated pools make colour fade and brass fast — we know exactly what they do.
Yes — and we recommend it. Our Dermalogica facial spa in Ubud is in the same building. Book both together and you get 15% off the facial. Total time around 2.5–3 hours; we arrange the order so you only settle in once. Many travelling clients use this as a pre-departure reset.
